Congratulations to the winners of the Faculty's 2025 Social Excellence Award.
Yuval Lubarsky, a PhD student, won the award for leading the "Mentors" initiative - a groundbreaking national educational initiative designed to train high school students in the field of cyber defense in collaboration with mentors from academia and the military.
Michal Eidelman, a bachelor's degree student, won the award for volunteering for regular and reserve soldiers at a refreshment station at the Yokneam Junction during the war.
Dan Kalifa, a PhD student, won the award for his long-term support and guidance for a Holocaust survivor while creating a deep and meaningful connection.
The Social Excellence Award is intended to highlight initiatives for doing good, and this year it was primarily female and male servicemen and reserve and regular servicemen who participated in combat for a long time, while at the same time striving to continue their studies and bridge the gaps that had arisen – they are a source of hope for us for a better future.
Alongside them, this year we chose to award the Faculty Social Excellence Award to Yuval Lubarsky, Michal Eidelman, and Dan Kalifa, who dedicated their time to extraordinary social work.
Congratulations!
