A new study led by Prof. Alex Bronstein has been published in the journal Nature Biotechnology.
The study presents an AI-based technology that improves AlphaFold3's ability to predict protein structures. Instead of predicting a single structure, the method enables the identification of a range of structural states of proteins — a step that could help advance our understanding of biological processes, disease research, and drug development.
The study involved researchers from the Technion, ISTA (Institute of Science and Technology Austria), and additional research institutions.
