We are proud to share an innovative new project led by the research group of Prof. Assaf Schuster at the Faculty of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Security, Israel Aerospace Industries, the Israel Innovation Authority, and the Israel Fire and Rescue Commission.
The project combines tactical drones and advanced algorithms to detect and locate fire hotspots in real time, with the goal of providing field teams with a fast and accurate situational picture and supporting critical decision-making in real time.
The research integrates artificial intelligence, data processing, and advanced technologies to transform academic innovation into a practical tool with a tangible impact on public safety and emergency response.
We are excited to see the Faculty’s research and innovation move from the lab into the field, helping address real-world challenges.
