Warm congratulations to Dr. Daniella Bar-Lev for winning first place in the Feder Family Award for outstanding research in the field of communications.
Daniella completed her three degrees at the faculty and is a graduate of the faculty's Lapidim program. Her research deals with DNA-based information storage systems under the supervision of Prof. Eitan Yaakobi and Prof. Tuvi Etzion.
In her research, she focuses on advanced algorithms and coding methods for error correction, error reduction, and building algorithms for recovering and retrieving information stored in DNA strands.
The award will be presented to her at the ACC Annual Conference to be held on February 1, 2026.
