Warm congratulations to Hadas Orgad on winning the VET scholarship for postdoctoral studies abroad for outstanding female scientists. Hadas will begin her postdoctoral studies at Harvard University as part of the Kempner Research Fellowship, starting next academic year.
Hadas, a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Yonatan Belinkov, is a researcher in the field of artificial intelligence with an emphasis on natural language processing.
Her research deals with the interpretability of artificial intelligence models, with the aim of improving their robustness and safety.
Hadas completed her bachelor's degree at the faculty as part of the Lapidim Excellence Program and graduated (2019) with distinction. She continued her master's degree under the advisment of Dr. Belinkov and for her work she won a Google Fellowship for Women in Computer Science; she later began a direct PhD track and was the first student at the Technion to win an Apple Fellowship in Artificial Intelligence.
