Lapidim Tech Leadership Program | Leadership in Research

The Lapidim program is designed to nurture outstanding students with potential for leadership in industry and research. The program provides an opportunity to lead and create connections with entrepreneurs and senior researchers in industry and academia, and also provides a constructive and challenging learning environment, including tuition waivers, a monthly living stipend, academic supervisor support, and a dedicated learning space to create fruitful connections among all students.

 

Lapidim Tech Leadership Program

The Lapidim Tech Leadership Program is designed for students with high potential for leadership in the high-tech world.

Program commitments:
1. Mandatory attendance at program meetings throughout each semester.
2. Average of 86 or higher at the end of each semester of study in the program.
3. Accumulation of 18 credits or more in each semester of study in the program.
4. Participation in 12 credits in courses from a designated list in the field of entrepreneurship, at least half of which exceed the requirements of the degree.

Lapidim Program - Leadership in Research

The Lapidim Program - Leadership in Research is intended for students with high potential for leadership and leadership for a career in academia.

Program obligations:
1. Mandatory attendance at program meetings throughout each semester.
2. Average of 88 or higher at the end of each semester of study in the program.
3. Accumulation of 18 credits or more in each semester of study in the program.
4. Completion of the course "Introduction to Faculty Research."
5. Building a research proposal or carrying out a research-based project.
6. Completion of three advanced courses (which can be transferred to a master's degree at the Technion), on the topic of the research program, beyond the requirements of the track and with the approval of the academic director of the program.

Application:

Bachelor's degree students in the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technion are invited to apply, who have completed their first or second semester of studies, with a cumulative average of 90 or higher, with 18 credits or more in each of the semesters.

The Lapidim program is highly competitive. The program team will invite candidates to continue the process based on their resumes and academic achievements. The next stages of the selection process include filling out a personal questionnaire and participating in frontal selections, including a personal interview, which will be held at the faculty towards the end of July 2025.
