Researchers at the Technion and their colleagues abroad have succeeded in
breaking down Intel's innovative security wall, Intel SGX
.
The breakthrough will be presented at the USENIX Security 18 conference
in Baltimore on August 15-17.
The researchers are Prof. Mark
Silberstein of the
Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Marina Minkin, a graduate student
in the faculty of Computer Science, who conducted the research together with
their colleagues from Adelaide, Michigan
(USA
)
and KU Leuven (Belgium)
. The study also involved
Technion graduates Ophir Weiss and [CS graduate] Dr. Daniel Genkin.
