in many applications in the computer graphics field, such as
remeshing, morphing and texture mapping, in this research work we
have examined the parameterization of genus-0 3d meshes over
spheres, the set of equations that represents the general
spherical embedding problem were formulated previously without a
robust and stable numerical scheme, we have constructed a
numerical scheme that will approximate a valid solution for the
problem and investigated the conformal transformation space of the
spherical embedding and finally solved the reverse-engineering
problem of finding the laplacian weights for a given spherical
embedding.

Spherical Smoother in the black box was updated on 29-10-2004. fine tuned some parameters in the smoothing process, and fixed a bug in loading large models.
