About me:

I am a researcher and data scientist at the Perceptual Computing group in Intel. My fields of interest include Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Image Processing. I am particularly interested in Deep Learning, Neural Nets, and Machine Intelligence.

I am also a senior lecturer at the Technion, and often lecture the Introduction to Systems Programming course. I have previously lectured Introduction to Computer Science for Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students.

My Ph.D. research is in the area of image and signal modeling, with specific focus on sparse and redundant representations, example-based dictionary learning, and the co-sparse analysis model. My research was under the supervision of Prof. Michael Elad. My Thesis is available here.

What I do:

I love sailing, yachting, and the ocean in general. I am a licensed skipper and a sailing instructor at Etgarim - the Israel Sports and Recreation Association for the Disabled.

I like photography and writing poems. In my spare time, I also play the piano.

I am an active volunteer at the Israel Cancer Association. My activities include organizing youth support groups, assisting patients, and promoting awareness of the professional community through lectures and personal meetings.
