About me:
I am a Computer Science Ph.D. graduate in the field of signal and image processing. My research interests include image and signal modeling, example-based methods, sparse and redundant representations, and the co-sparse analysis model. My Ph.D. research was done under the supervision of Prof. Michael Elad.
I am a member of the Geometric Image Processing Lab, and supervise ongoing student projects.
I am a lecturer of the Introduction to Systems Programming course (Spring 2012). I previously lectured Introduction to Computer Science (Winter 2011) for Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students.

What I do:
I love sailing, yachting, and the ocean in general. I am a licensed skipper and a sailing instructor at Etgarim - the Israel Sports and Recreation Association for the Disabled.
I like photography and writing poems. In my spare time, I also play the piano.
I am an active volunteer at the Israel Cancer Association. My activities include organizing youth support groups, assisting patients, and promoting awareness of the professional community through lectures and personal meetings.
