Our goal in this workshop is to foster a multi-perspective view of the possibilities and the challenges of data mining in grid environments. We intend to encourage interaction and exchange of ideas among the participants. For this reason we expect to have longer than usual Q&A periods after paper presentations and, if time permits, a panel discussion.
