This page was updated on Fri Nov 12 21:02:40 IST 2004

This is a list of russian books that i have read and remembered to list here.

  1. The Project of Erast Fandorin - by B. Akunin The end of 2000 - beginning of 2001
If you start reading one of these books know, that you gonna read them till you finish it. No other deeds will be done and nothing will interrupt you. Its written on the books and its true. If you can read it then do it. You wont regret any moment of this time. The only thing that will make you sorry is when you've finished the book, but still have a feeling for more. One more remark, read them in order, you can skip some, but better do it right.
  2. Kys or Kies by Tatyana Tolstaya - September 2002
Great. This book is classic already. The language (Russian) is so rich and thick that you can touch and feel it. Great book. Even if i write a lot about it, its not worth it: get it and read it.
  3. Den by Tatyana Tolstaya - December 2003
This is a collection of short stories on various subjects. Tolstaya proves once again that she is the true master of language and a really smart and intelligent person. The book is fun to read and makes you want to read it again and again.
    "Den" means Day in russian.
  4. Noch or Night by Tatyana Tolstaya - January 2004
A collection of short stories. All the stories compare the hopes and the real life. People expect something, longing for some better life, but the real-life passing-by, leaving you with nothing at the end, but broken hopes. The book touches one heart in a sad way.
