This project's goal was to add sandboxing capabilities to the Condor batch system.
The first stage was to wrap the calls to the file system and prevent unauthorized access to the hard drives. Developed during: 2004-2005

SNMP works over UDP, since UDP is inefficient for transferring large amounts of data over a non-quiet link a need arouse to allow efficient transfer of large
amount of SNMP data. This was done using a TCP Backchannel to transfer the data in an efficient way.

Monitoring Condor Nodes' Performance Counters via Skype Messaging

111This project's goal was build a monitoring tool for the Condor batch system. The tool allows to hook up to the executing machines' Windows performance counters. Data is sent via Skype messaging.

How to put-up your own ubuntu server
|
You can download Ubuntu Linux from here.
Now, install Automatix for an easy setup of basic applications on your box.

If you don't want to purchase a domain you can get a free one at DynDns.

Getting DNS to work
For an internal DNS server, install bind9.
For exteranl DNS (linking your domain to your server), register free at ZoneEdit.
Use ddClient to update ZoneEdit (if you bought your own domain) or DnyDns (if you use a free domain)

Install a Web-Server
Install Appache2 as your web-server with the help of this guide.
Get SSL and client-side-certificate authentication with your own CA, using this guide.
