Abstract:

We speculate about the potential quality of new Digital Rights
Management (DRM) systems, where the goal is to protect the copyright
of content producers on the internet. In this new setting we have
serious systemic, operational, and algorithmic advantages that we did
not have in the previous ("classic") round. We then give economic
analysis of counterfeiting in classic DRM.
