"Cryptography: A Personal Perspective"

My personal involvement in Cryptography started exactly 30 years
ago, with the invention of the RSA cryptosystem in 1977. In this talk I
will describe some of the major trends in academic cryptographic research
over this period, Prof. Shimon Even's early contributions to the field,
and some of the most interesting recent results. The talk will be quite
general, and accessible to non-experts.
