The User Interface
The first screen that appears when the applet starts is the screen that we can see in Fig 1.

This screen can be divided to three main parts:
1.The colorful beehive (Fig 2).
2.The text area beside the beehive.

3.The control panel that contains :
3.1 The "User Account" button.
3.2 The radio buttons that defines the map type:
3.2.1 Faculty - Shows the dominant faculty in a hexagon.
3.2.2 Hits - Shows the number of documents that are mapped to a specific hexagon.
4.The text field of the query and course number
5. The radio button that determine the what flags appear on the map:
5.1 The course that its number is entered to the textfield.
5.2 The prerequisites of a course.
5.3 The overlapping courses of a course.
The second screen is the personal profile screen. It appears when the user clicks the personal profile button. The second screen contains two lists.
The first is the list of courses that available in five faculties of the Technion. The second list is the list of courses that the user would like to map on the beehive.

In the second screen there are three buttons:
Scenarios
1. Clicking the mouse button on the beehive’s hexagon a popup menu appears with all the courses that were mapped to the hexagon.
2. Choosing one of them and the text document that relates to that course appears in the text area.
3. Choosing a beehive type:
3.1 The “Faculty” beehive
3.2 The “Density” beehive
4. Inserting a query and pressing “Enter” key and new beehive is shown.
The new beehive is painted with color form the scale. The upper color in the scale paints the areas where the chosen terms are most significant.
5. Insert a course number and press the "Enter" key.
A flag signing the course place appear on map.
By chooing each of the radio button you can watch the course`s prerequisites or overlapping or the course itself.
Clicking the "clear" button cleans the map from all kind of flags.
6. Clicking the “User Account” button and a new screen appears:

6.1. Mark the courses you would like to add to your basket courses and click the “Add” button.
6.2. Mark the courses that you wish to remove from your basket and click the “Remove” button.
The courses are gone from the list.
6.3. Click the “Exit” button to map all chosen courses to the beehive.
6.4.Insert your user name and password. The "Save" and "Login" button become enable.
Now by pressing the "Save" button you save the list of courses in your account or
by pressing the "Login" button you gets the last saved list of courses.
