I do not understand the foolishness of the Israeli government(s).
Even today they are dragged by events rather than initiate movements.
My idea of today is that Israel should initiate its _own_ peace move
that will be based on three principles:
1. The Arabs admit their continuous aggression for years (even before '48).
2. The Arabs will compensate Israel for their aggression with land and money.
3. To prevent future aggression, all Arab armies together
   will not be bigger than the Israeli army.

Then, peace negotiations will start with no preconditions:
the Arabs do not have to accept the Israeli initiative
and Israel does not have to accept the Arab initiative.

[Tell me: are these terms more far-fetched than Arab-refugees full-return?]
