The Not-As-Yet-Complete History of the Fellowship of the Flying Paladin

Here are the voyages of the Fellowship of the Flying Paladin, for which space - and time - is NOT a final frontier!

Introduction

The Fellowship of the Flying Paladin still needs a definite historic account. In this world (named "real" by the majority of the mundane folk) it has first gathered to play around October 1992, and it still goes on. In the Universe of Mirn-Kaia, where the Fellowship plays a very crucial role, time is a complicated matter. Starting in the Imperial year 15345, they had travelled back to 2510 before the Empire, and finally have arrived at a region where time cannot be measured properly at all.

The Fellowship of the Flying Paladin's appearance on the Net dates to November 1992, when an account of their adventure was posted to the AD&D mailing list.

The establishing of the Fellowship of the Flying Paladin History Database represents the first attempts to codify the unique adventures of that mighty group of strange people in the Universe of Mirn-Kaia. We hope that by the end of October 1996 - the Fellowship of the Flying Paladin's anniversary - the four volumes will be near completion, and we'll catch up with the party's Great Story, completed - though never finished - during the historical session on 12 September 1996.

When the database is ready, you will be welcome to browse these books:

Book 1: Before the Time-Travels (Summary Only meanwhile)

Book 2: From Kuwa to Krean (Summary Only meanwhile)

Book 3: The Enchanted land of Krean (Summary Only meanwhile)

Book 4: The Talisman of Ha (Summary Only meanwhile)

There are additional sources of data regarding the Fellowship of the Flying Paladin kept here:

  1. The last "Dear Players" messages sent to the players. At any given moment only relevant letters are kept on the server.
  2. An account on the party members, sent by e-mail to the players on April 2, 1995.
  3. A selection of very old (March-April 1993!) and interesting self-descriptions of party members, with my April 1995 comments. (Newer self-descriptions can be obtained by clicking the appropriate name on the main page).
  4. A (meanwhile unsorted) archive of articles sent by me to the AD&D BitNet Mailing List in 1992-93, containing much Mirn-Kaia and Flying Paladin information.

Finally, I (and we in general) welcome contributions to this database. From Fellowship members we need more descriptions, reactions and suggestions, and from non-Fellowship members (most of the world) we need reactions and comments. Don't remain silent! Leave your message HERE!!!
