Baturlan's Description

Baturlan, or Badkhur the Blessed of the Lan family, a bard, dreamer and prophet of the red-skinned Tsji race, who in his exploration of himself reaches often to the very borderline of reality - and sometimes beyond it.

Here is a partial but instructive self-description by Baturlan's player:

People looking at Baturlan get the uneasy feeling of something bad going to happen. Not bad as in a bomb put under your bed but rather like a piano falling on your head while walking in a busy street.

Yes , Baturlan is quite a guy. Not only is he incredibly handsome (if you like tall red-haired red-skinned mean-looking men) , but he is also ingenious in the terrible things he does to the creatures who try to hurt him or his partners (provided , of course , that he is in no danger trying to do all those nasty things).

He also has a hawk, called Top, who is rather like his owner in many ways. He is also mean-looking , and tends to fly off when the going gets tough.

Baturlan especially likes to steal the magically worthy items the party found and selling them or exchanging them -to his benefit.

Still, he always comes out with the solution the party needs... with them knowing it or without.

Everybody who knows the Imaginer, will note that the above text is correct, but incomplete: there is much more to Baturlan than this, you'd say; and you'd be right. This text belongs to the oldest (March 1993) set of character descriptions. I have included it here without hesitation because it is so precise. You may look here to see the historic situation beyond it. Of course, when Barak has the time (he's in a tough military course now), he'll prepare a newer description, which will be immediately placed here... so keep looking.
