On Wednesday, June 29, 2022 CS held a Fellowships and Diploma Ceremony for Excellent Students in The Technion Henry and Marilyn Taub Computer Science Faculty (SAMBA), in honor of the donating families, the winning students and their guests.

Prof. Mirela "Ben-Chen hosted the event and congratulated the winning students on their achievements and Dean Prof. Dan Geiger congratulated and granted the diplomas. Mr. Israel Abramovich, Mr. Gadi Lavi, Mr. Eitan Shevet, Mr. Michael Kagan, NVIDIA CTO and Mr. Danny Shaket spoke on behalf of the donating families and in memory of Yosefa Abramovich, Assaf Lavie, Guy Shevet and Dr. Ephraim Shaket. Each of the granted students amused the guests with a personal witty speech and thanked the donating families.

The fellowships were awarded this year to recipients in 2021-22, generously granted as follows:

The Yosefa Abramovich Fellowship, founded by Elbit Systems, to Yael Lessick and Sary Daaboul. The diploma was presented by Mr. Israel Abramovich and his son Talor.

The Assaf Lavie Foundation, Check Point Software Technologies donation, to Muhammad Abo Foul, Ido Binyamin, Lior Harouche, Thomas Hashem, Einav Huberman, Tamar Lachover, Yael Shabtay and Mohammad Zeid. The diploma was presented by Ms Nurit and Mr. Gadi Lavie.

The Guy Shevet Fellowship, NVIDIA endowment, to Eitan Levy, Yonatan Reches, Tomer Florence. The diploma was presented by Ms Yonit Lev and Mr. Michael Kagan.

Dr. Ephraim Shaket Fellowship, endowment by the Shaket Family, to Eyal Barak - he diploma was presented by the son Mr. Danny Shaket
