CS Faculty, Staff & Students Volunteer to Help Food Rescue Organization

CS Faculty, Staff & Students Volunteer to Help Food Rescue OrganizationOn Monday, 23/2/2015, the computer science department participated in a volunteering activity organized by LEKET ISRAEL, the country's largest food rescue organization. The main goal of LEKET ISRAEL is to alleviate the problem of nutritional insecurity amongst the growing numbers of Israel's poor. Faculty members, staff and graduate students rolled up their sleeves and contributed from their time and energy in picking vegetables for the needy. After many hours on the field we returned tired but extremely content.

We recommend volunteering and enjoying the experience to everyone!
