CS Ph.D. Student Receives COLT12 Best Student Paper Award
CS Ph.D. Ron Begleiter
(advised by Dr. Nir Ailon
and Prof. Ran El-Yaniv)
won the best student paper award
at COLT 2012 conference.
The prize is based on both the content of the presented
paper: "Active Learning of
Custering with Side Information Using $\eps$-Smooth Relative Regret
Approximations" (co-authored with Nir Ailon and Esther Ezra) and Ron's presentation at the conference.
