CS undergraduate students, Alex Portnov and Dror Baum, won the 3rd place in the "Israeli Mobile Challenge" 2012 and were awarded in a ceremony held in Ben Gurion University on June 18th. The prize was given for their
project "Indoor Map Screening" performed in Technion CS
Laboratory of Computer Communication and Networking, in cooperation with Qualcomm. This project enables users to generate indoor navigation maps in seconds, and allows quick and efficient route finding using those maps.
