CS 2011 Graduation Ceremony

CS 2011 Graduation CeremonyOn June 23, 2011, the Computer Science Department celebrated the graduation of 200 students. Dean, Prof. Eli Biham, Vice Dean for Undergraduate Studies, Prof. Irad Yavneh, and graduates representative Shai Solovtkin spoke in the presence of many guests and family members. A graduate student Ran Zemach performed musical pieces.

This year, 39 graduated cum laude and received the Dean Excellency Designation and 9 graduated summa cum laude and received the President Excellency Designation. Among the CS graduates this year was also Yoel Shalit, Gilad's brother. On behalf of the CS Department the Dean wished Yoel and his family, who were guests of the ceremony, that Gilad would come home soon.
