What is the Excellent Assistant Prize?

This prize is awarded by the Technion each semester to outstanding assistants. Outstanding assistants are recommended by the Faculty members according to various parameters, including personal recommendations from course lecturers and the results of the Good Assistants poll. The teaching assistant is usually expected to perform tasks that go beyond the job definition, or to excel in the Good Assistants poll, in order to receive this prize. The Excellent Assistant Prize may be received several times, if outstanding performance is maintained over a number of semesters. The prize is currently set at a level of NIS 1,000 (the financial prize is restricted to the first three times for each recipient).
