Prof. Rafael Beyar
Prof. Rafael Beyar is the Dean of the Technion Medicine Dept. and a Director of the Division of Invasive Cardiology in the Rambam Medical Center. He got his M. Sackler Medical School in Tel Aviv University and his PhD from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion.
Prof. Beyar was elected as Head of the International Society of Heart Research, Israeli subsection (1994-1997), member of the council on Circulation and Basic Research, American Heart association, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Member of the IEEE, CSDS and other professional societies.
Prof. Beyar was a leader and pioneer in numerous cardiac world class innovations and was involved in the founding of various new ventures.

Abraham Ludomirski, M.D.
Dr Ludomirski, the founder and co-manager of Vitalife, is an acknowledged world expert in several medical areas and is a successful businessman in his own right. Throughout his career, Dr. Ludomirski has consulted to the top companies in the medical field, including GE Medical, ATL (Philips), Matria, QED, Medison. He is very experienced in the area of VCs, start-ups and with global regulators.
As part of his "Hands On" approach Dr. Ludomirski serves in the boards of many of the Vitalife portfolio companies.

Mr. Gavriel Meron
Gavriel Meron, President and CEO of Given Imaging, founded the latter in 1998. Prior to that he served numerous executive positions at different Israeli startups like APPLItec (medical), Optibase (video compression), InterPharm Laboratories (pharmaceutics) and at the Tadiran Group.
Mr. Meron holds an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in economics and statistics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Dr. Uzi de Haan
Dr. De Haan's last Philips job was establishing Philips in Israel, now a $ 350 mln activity, mainly in Medical Devices employing 460 workers. After finishing his PhD at the Technion, Uzi de Haan joined Philips Electronics, where he functioned in the fields of Consumer Electronics, Communications Systems and Medical Systems.
Uzi retired from Philips and returned to the Technion as visiting scientist.
