The PeerBoost Project

PeerBoost system maximizes the throughput and connectivity of Wi-Fi networks.

We achieve this through distributed cooperation algorithms and by simultaneoulsy creating multiple wireless networks over the same physical hardware.

The current implementation is done in Linux with the madwifi open source driver. We have developed a user space daemon that uses the madwifi driver together with standard Linux networking tools to achieve our goal.

The documents section contains a full description of the work done so far.
