JazzEnsemble is a Group Communications toolkit designed to target
wireless mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). As part of our research in
MANET communication, we aim to bring powerful middleware to the
complex wireless environment, thus making it easier to develop
reliable networked applications.
JazzEnsemble is being actively developed at the Distributed Systems
Laboratory of the Computer Science Department at the Technion -
Israel Institute of Technology. The package is developed as a derivative of
Ensemble, originally built at
Cornell University, with modifications
to make it suitable for MANETs.
The latest beta version of the toolkit for Windows and Linux may be
downloaded from the Software section. We aim to roll
out the first official version, along with a port to the Pocket PC
platform in the near future.
Any questions about JazzEnsemble may be sent to Alon Kama.
