In this work we have introduced a new way to speed up downloads from multiple
mirror sites which dynamically adjusts to the network and server loads. We have
implemented the Forward Error Correcting Code from Luigi[1] in the Java language
and have built a Java applet which demonstrates our download technique. The
impressive results that we got show that this technique has a high potential in
achieving more speed from the current network infrastructure.
